Our commitment: Context Capsule is built privacy-first. We collect only what's necessary to provide the service, and we never sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and encrypted password. We do not store passwords in plain text.
Usage Data: We collect anonymized, aggregated usage statistics to improve the Service. This does not include the content of your capsules.
Your Content: We store the notes and files you upload to provide the Service. For Ultra tier users, content is encrypted with keys only you control.
Your data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Ultra tier users benefit from additional zero-trust encryption where encryption keys never leave your device.
For Pro tier and above, we use a local embedding model to enable semantic search. This model runs on our servers - your data is never sent to third-party AI services. Search queries and content remain private.
ProAI and Ultra tiers can connect external AI tools via MCP. When you do this, your capsules may be accessed by those tools as configured by you. We log MCP requests for your audit trail but do not monitor the content of those requests.
